Sunday – Noon
- $5 entry fee for each act or group
- Entry deadline is Saturday, July 22, 2011
- Three divisions:
- a. Pre-teen – age 12 and under
- b. Teen – age 13 through 18
- c. Open – any age
- Over $600 in prize money
- First place winners qualify to compete at the Minnesota State Fair
- Time limit is four (4) minutes
- Accompanist (not a part of the act) may be any age
- Instrumental tapes or CDs with NO VOCALS may be used for background
- Must use sound system provided by the fair
- Contest held Sunday, July 24, noon
- Rules and guidelines are set forth by the Minnesota State Fair
- 1 st place winner will be asked to perform at fair board gathering
- Winners must represent Rice County at MN State Fair Talent Contest
- Contest Cash prizes will only be allowed to winners who will represent Rice County at MN State Fair
